Lisa Taylor Huff is New Jersey native who in 2006 decided to “live the dream” and move to Paris. At 45 and “still single”, Lisa realized it was now or never after over 30 years of dreaming about a life abroad in France. Despite having been the target of a pickpocket on her last trip to Paris, her love of the city and the French language and culture has never wavered—though she’ll be much more careful next time she rides the Métro!

Lisa is the author of The Writing Coach’s Guide to FINALLY Writing Your Book! and writer of the popular blog, The Bold Soul (www.theboldsoul.com) where she writes about her love of France and the challenges of being a single woman over 40. Her past careers have included computer programming and web design in corporate America for 14 years, and being a trained and certified professional Life Coach for over 8 years. Now focusing her passion and energy on writing, Lisa will be researching and writing two travel narrative books during her first year in Paris, in addition to continuing her freelance ghostwriting, copywriting and web design business.

When she’s not immersed in reading, writing or blogging, you will no doubt be able to find Lisa roaming happily in the museums of Paris, taking photos throughout the beautiful Parisian streets, or enjoying a vin rouge or coffee in some Left-bank café. Be sure to say hello if you meet her!
