Louis Borgenicht is a pediatrician/writer living in Salt Lake City. He and his wife Jody have been to Paris yearly since 1996. They have considered moving to The City of Lights and hope to spend a month there during 2010 to see what it feels like. Louis is a musician, political activist and recreational overachiever. He plays harmonica in a blues band, has been a an antinuclear activist for three decades, and enjoys fly fishing, tennis, golf and bike riding. He has been a prolific writer, especially for Bonjour Paris and has been published in regional magazines and newspapers. He publishes monthly letters to the editor of The Salt Lake Tribune, most of them castigating Republicans one way or another. He enjoys reading Parisian history in particular, Les Miserables, but has been unable to appreciate the mysteries of Cara Black. His fluency in French is the result of two years of high school French, a year of college French and perpetual hope.
