Riding the Paris Metro by Photojournalist Clay McLachlan
Riding the Métro by Clay McLachlan Riding the Métro in Paris is always interesting, never dull, and often amazing. Sometimes it is crowded beyond comfort as I take my five year-old daughter to school and I wonder why I am so drawn to this place. Other times I stare out the window in awe as I am confronted with juxtapositions such as this one: graffiti and a majestic corner apartment building seen while whizzing by on the Métro between Sèvres-Lecourbe and Pasteur on the ligne 6. The light during Paris winter months can be absolutely breathtaking. These moments are amazing. Technical Details: iPhone 4, Hipstamatic app, John S lens, Ina’s 1969 film.
