August 2010 Paris Events

By Lisa Buros-Hutchins

Les Grandes Vacances have begun and the events scene is a bit quiet in Paris. August is a lovely time to visit La Grande Dame, to be outdoors enjoying a stroll with one less car horn blaring as many Parisians leave for vacation. There is a calm that washes over Paris this time of year with a warm resolution that the City of Light simply relax and chill out a bit. The pace of Paris slows down a bit and life takes on that hazy summer glow. Although August is a relatively low-key month for events, there are still a few things on offer for your consideration!
