For those of us who were in Paris yesterday and the day before during the incredible winds, did you have any/many problems??

Wow - those 150+ kilometer winds. I was afraid my shutters would blow off.
And yesterday's snow flakes?? Paris is COLD!
Ellen, that sounds so pretty! It's been a while since I've seen that kind of snow. In the past few weeks we've had some episodes of great big snowflakes falling here in Paris but they've melted right away.
Here in the Finger Lakes of NY, it's snowing those big flakes on top of almost a foot of freshly fallen snow. I can't remember the last time we had a white Christmas. Sorry it's so damp in Paris.
Hi Stacy ,,,

I am still traveling. Back to the US tomorrow. Hope I won't be stuck at the NY airport because of snow!
My joints do not appreciate the damp cold! Thank goodness some blessed soul brought me a bunch of ibuprofen. ;) On the other hand, I appreciate the relatively mild winter temperatures in Paris as compared to my native upper midwest, where they're freezing and having lots of snow.

Are you back here enjoying our gray weather, or are you still traveling?
Stacy ... the weather hasn't gotten better .... just colder (: How are you holding up?
It has been very gray and rainy and chilly here lately, and I'm getting so tired of it!

If you're headed for Paris, don't forget your umbrella and gloves, and throw in a scarf or buy one here. It's a great time of year to wear layers as you never know what the temperatures will be like indoors and sometimes even outdoors.
