Pigalle is one of the metro stops for Sacre Coeur. Have you been up there? It definitely has a different feeling from the areas you're used to. If you haven't been there, I'd definitely recommend it. Sacre Coeur is one of my favorite churches and the view of the city is nice. For me, the area has somewhat of a bohemian feel to it.
candy store on rue Fontaine
I'm going to hop on the train and head to the only store (that I know of, anyway) that sells Henri Le Roux chocolate and caramels, L'Etoile d'Or at 30 rue Fontaine. I'm wondering, though, if there's anything in that area that might also be worth checking out? The metro stops are Pigalle and Blanche.
Being someone who barely ventures out of the 1, 2, 6, 7 and 5 (although I am heading to L'Os a Moelle for lunch this time around), anything outside that comfort zone is pretty scary.
Any thoughts on cool sights to see in that area?
