We'll try to go ;-)
Sometime in June.
Richard - if you say so, it's a go. When will you be back in Paris? We'll all go.
Yes, it was worth it.
Richard - a Coste restaurant is NEVER cheap. The question is, was it worth the money?
Not cheap, is correct.
Women's Wear Daily has written this review:

"La Société, a 130-seat eatery located in a 19th-century building across from the historic Saint Germain church, has already attracted the Fendi family, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Bernard-Henri Lévy and former French justice minister Rachida Dati.

French interior designer Christian Liaigre, the man behind Selfridges in London and the Mercer Hotel in New York, gave the place an artsy bent with contemporary sculptures like Marc Rebollo’s “Never Die” marble work and Sara Favriau’s marble cubes. Meanwhile, the patina finish of the parquet floors and the leather and mahogany furniture lend a modern and loungelike feel.

The menu, which includes lobster and herb salad and shrimp risotto, will not surprise Costes regulars, but there are a few additions, including a “Le Club Saint Germain” sandwich or the Paris gratinée (French onion soup), that are a wink to the Saint Germain spirit."

I suspect it's not cheap ... since the Coste group goes for chic and trendy.
La Societe is a Coste restaurant.
La Societe sounds nice and convenient. ___ Al, I've heard good things about the restaurant. Know Richard is away -- so he may not have an answer for a few days.
Itineraires must be good.....couldn't get a reservation on 2 occasions. I was touted to the Petit
Pentoise a couple of years ago by St.Germain (know him Richard ? ;) ) and enjoyed a few times. La Societe sounds nice and convenient. Is it in the same price range as the others?
Glad to hear you liked Itineraires. I hope I was there on a really off night. Richard, merci.
The meal was great. Second time there.
Did you like Itineraires? I had a so so meal there AFTER a super one. Would love to read your impression!!
Petit Pontoise; Itineraires; Chez Rene and our apartment.
Richard -- Please let us in on the other places you've eaten!!
Had great dinners last week at La Societe in the 6th arr., and at Le Buisson Ardent, in the 5th.
Here's a new resto for those who want to eat healthy and want organic products -- termed "bio" in France.

It's in the 17th and is good!
Mini Cooper has paired up with inventive chef Gilles Choukroun (Angl’Opera) to create this swanky new address located inside the Grand Palais. Starting with breakfast, the place serves food all day: at lunch try the 20€ prix-fixe menu (main, glass of wine, coffee), or nibble between 3-7pm on a range of indulgent snacks, such as a Foie gras, popcorn and caramel balsamic remoulade (7€), or the Upside-down lemon tart (7€). A la carte at lunch or dinner might propose prawns à la plancha or rumsteak (28€). But the restaurant’s magnificent stone terrace, decorated with elaborate columns and friezes, rivals that of the Café Marly, and competes with the cosmopolitan menu for your attention. Inside is sobre and spacious, brightened up with splashes of colourful cushions, and large spyholes through to the interior of the Grand Palais. After 11.30 the place turns into a ‘lounge’, a place to hang out and drink cocktails (12€-15€)
