They shop one place for their bread, another for their fish and so on, as we do in my life, so you are moving about more. I happen not to drive so do my errands in spring/summer/fall by my bicycle, and they don't have the severe winters we have, a time when I gain weight.
For those who have lived both in the United States and France, in practical terms, what were the biggest differences that you've experienced or witnessed between the two?
