Completely OT

If she is looking for an apartment, and then for a girl to share it with, she really is looking for two things. Why not make it simpler, and look for a girl who wants to share her apartment? This way she is looking for only one thing, and when she does find it, she is done! Just an idea to simplify things. This way she does not risk being syuck with an apt. alone.

Am deep in the throws of planning an international move. YOu can't believe how much documentation is needed to import a parrot! That said, it's amazing how many folks I've recently met who have forged documents!!! So much for the wildlife organizations trying to police the importation and exportation of animals! Hrumph

OK... I need your input, assistance, and pearls of wisdom. Our oldest daughter, Abbey, is dying to move to NYC. She has always been in love with the big apple! I know some of the forum members live in NY, so I would love your input.

She recently got a call from Rolling Stone Magazine and another firm who want to interview her. She's presently living in NC. I'm trying to help her establish a network of contacts in NY who can assist her with navigating the difficult process of relocation. Her biggest issue to date is finding an apartment, more specifically, an apartment she could share with someone.

If any of you have any pearls of wisdom you could share with me I would be OH SO GRATEFUL.
