Anna and others - There are personal shoppers who are based in Paris. For a fee, they will be more than delighted to shop for you. BUT remember, the shipping and insurance fees and you may be hit by having to pay customs.
So many US web sites sell French clothes. You're probably better buying via them. They've done a lot of the leg work and even allow returns. Not all clothes fit ...sigh.

oh, I love clothes by Caroll, too!!! Last year I bought a special black evening gown by Caroll at Printemps that was very Audrey Hepburn-ish from "Breakfast At Tiffany's". I tried shopping from their site as well and unfortunately a lot of French companies aren't offering on-line shopping yet. It's so frustrating because they have an on-line "catalog" but you can't make purchases from it!
I know they don't have shops in the U.S. but you may try subscribing to their newsletter for more info. Your post prompted me to check their site again and I'm going to subscribe!

What I have done in the past is actually shop for people in Paris. They give me an idea or exactly what they want and off I go. If I'm not sure I'll snap a quick digital and email the product.
Fee: $100.00 (regardless of time spent. Shipping fees not included. I travel often to the US so if I can I'll bring the item with me and ship from the US).

I'm wondering if anyone here can help me with my problem. I went to Paris in '02 and bought myself a beautiful Caroll suit while I was there as well as some other things from their collection. I'm finishing university this year and am way too broke to go to Paris any time soon, especially with the euro exchange rate being what it is, but I want some nice business clothes and I'd really like to buy something from Caroll. Problem is that I visited their site and they don't offer online shopping. Are there any 3rd party retailers on the net where I could hope to find what I'm looking for?
