Mimi -- i've always thought the French use a better brand of coffee - and there's no question that adding hot milk makes an enormous difference.

Sorry.Karen, but not only has our format good crazy, but at least on my PC not only has your posting above on the 16th goten lost but (and I find this hard to believe)it is also gone from the RSSfeed . The only posting of yours from the 16th is your postings with Mimi.

My comment on your coffee posting that you've thought the French use a better brand of coffee is like saying one never gets a bad meal in France....and we know differently,don't we? Of course adding hot milk makes an enormous difference otherwise people wouldn't do it. But that doesn't mean that it's BETTER...it is always a matter of taste.

It's really funny...in England with tea, one must put the milk in the cup BEFORE the tea and NEVER,NEVER with Hot milk which has a world of difference in taste.But that's what we are talking about..TASTE!!!...everybody's perogative. I love black coffee....but not French coffee which is always bitter to me when it's black.

I am not crazy about this discussion board either! But each time we make a transfer, it costs soooooo much money, takes so much time. But, if there are enough people posting, we'll bite the financial bullet! Happily.
