Amy: you could come on a student visa and work 20 hours per week. Or there are people who do all types of child care functions under the table ... not legal but as you'll be in Paris less than six months. Even if you were to have a TEFL certificate, that doesn't give you the legal right to work in France. Sigh ... K
Bonjour! I am very interested in coming to Paris for the summer. I haven't been there since my college days in 1990, and while I would love to just go and "be", that's not really an option financially. I am wondering about the teaching possibilities there. I don't have a TESOL certificate, but am a Montessori trained at both Primary and Elementary levels. Any suggestions? Shall I investigate the TESOL or try to do something on my own? Is that legal?
Thanks,
Amy
