Has anyone tried No Jet Lag pills ? They are homeopathic. I have heard mixed reviews.

What are these pills supposed to do? Help you maximize you sleep on th plane or reset something in the brain? I swear by melonatin to help me sleep through the night and I wouldn"t hesitate to use it on an overnight flight. But I wasn"t thinking of it as a no jetlag pill (whatever that is); just something to maximize sleep on the plane.
Marc:

Have you read the Melatonin Miracle by Dr. Bill Regelson? Interesting book - but it didn't help me.....it certainly has helped others.
For the past few years I've used the melatonin-to-reset-your-clock technique (in its original, rather simple, version) that doesn't work for Karen. It works well for me. I got started with it because I'd gone to college with one of the doctors who invented it. Whether it really works or the personal acquaintance simply made the placebo effect stronger, I couldn't say.

The technique really only works west-to-east, as the times of day you have to take the melatonin going east-to-west are very inconvenient. But since I don't mind being jetlagged in the States as much as I do when I've just arrived in Europe, that's ok.

Part of the protocol also recommends being outside during daylight hours as much as possible after arrival.

I only have a jet lag problem going east to west. What was the direction in which these were used?

Both directions.

Do you agree?

I agree -- and feel a bit as if I am in LaLa land before my body is acclimated. But, there are tricks. SLEEPING ON THE PLANE even with chemical aid. Taking a nap when I get to my destination. And, if I am feeling decadent or in a country when massages are cheap -- indulging in one and asking to be massaged in a room where I can sleep.

I've tried changing my internal clock before leaving home - but that rarely works for me. Other swear by it.

Here is the latest, evidently, on jetlag.

From the article:

Experts on jet lag say they believe it takes one day for each time zone away from home, up to a maximum of six or seven days, to get fully acclimated to local time.
