La Fontaine Medicis
The Médicis Fountain
La Fontaine Médicis might be the most romantic fountain in all of Paris, and it's also one of the remaining decorations of Italian-born Queen of France, Marie de Médicis. Located in the 55-acre Luxembourg Gardens, La Fontaine Medicis was built in the 1630s for the queen as homage to the Bountalenti Grotto for the homesick Florentian.
BonjourParis suggests finding a chair underneath the big shady plane trees and just breathe in its pure peacefulness.

Walking Tour: Saint-Germain-des-Prés/Luxembourg
