Les Piétons Tapas Bar

Located at the corner of the rue Quincampoix and rue des Lombards in the lively Beaubourg neighborhood, this charming, atmospheric tapas bar serves up excellent tortilla espagnola, passable sangria and delicious tapas. Its setting is festive and almost sunny enough to cause you to forget the somber weather when Paris is grey and rainy.

Les Piétons is aggressively bustling on weekend evenings‑be prepared to push your way past jovial waiters serving flaming shots and crowds of revelers huddled around their plates of chorizo a la cidra or calamares. If you can stand the crowds it’s a great place to begin your evening. For a more laid-back experience, visit Les Piétons during happy hour on a weekday (far earlier than any self-respecting Spaniard would deign to go for tapas) when the resto is nearly empty and prices are remarkably cheap. €11.50 will buy three tapas au choix, a glass of sangria, and dessert.
