Maison Européenne de la Photographie
(The European House of Photography)
For photography lovers, this place is a must. Housing international photographic works from the 1950s, this museum showcases the flexibility of photography as artistic media. Established in the 1980s, the collection includes over 15,000 pieces; all startling, revealing, and interesting. The center of contemporary photographic art, the layout of the building itself is remarkable; with its exhibition center, a large library, a place to view videos, and auditorium to unite photography and video as artistic media.
