Nightlife in 11th

Ueberkampf is the place you won't want your older teenagers to discover. This is where Paris nightlife goes into full swing. The touristy Belle Epoche le Cafe Charbon has a long zinc bar (a Paris tradition) to kick off the trendy bar scene with a nice Manhattan. La Caravane has a relaxed drinking crowd. The Cannibele Café, with its red leather seating, tends to have an even more Zen-like crowd. L’autre Cafe is a launching pad for young artists. It has a very eclectic crowd of drinkers. Les Neufs Billards has tango nights. La Scene Bastille has gay Fridays and gay tea dance parties. Le Rosso has a loyal crowd and a Tuesday night that bursts at the seams with their famous "if you love me party". Basically if you are over 30 you want to skip the bars in the 11th except for maybe the Le Gibus, which show concerts of world famous musicians such as the Police and REM. Le Balajo is also not bad for the 30+ crowd. It offers salsa, tango and a great ladies night on Thursday.
